How it started
Ryan's Mobile Detailing started in 2025 in Gridley with a simple idea: people here should not have to drive to Chico or Yuba City, hand over the keys, and wait half a day for a proper detail. So Ryan built the business to come to them instead.
He bought the equipment, learned the techniques properly, and started taking jobs one driveway at a time. The Detail In Progress sign has since stood in driveways across Gridley, Oroville and Chico, and the Google reviews went from zero to 52, all five stars.
One person does the whole job
Every detail is done by Ryan personally. There is no crew and no second van. He sees the car when he arrives, sets the standard, and walks it with you when he is done. Anything you are not happy with, he fixes before he leaves.
That is why the results are the same from one visit to the next, and why customers keep mentioning the small things: the car seats he cleaned without being asked, the time he took, the treat left on the seat.
We have used Ryan twice now and very pleased with his work. He has even done all the kids car seats, when we didn't ask. Always goes the extra mile.

Steamer, extractor and every product. You need a parking spot, access to the car, and a water spigot and power outlet he can reach.

A quick walk around first
Ryan looks the car over with you, points out anything that needs an add-on, and confirms the price before he starts.

The detail
Two to five hours depending on the package. You can be home, at work or out.

Walk-through and the treat
You look it over together. An air freshener and a snack are waiting inside.

Ryan did an incredible job detailing my Honda Accord. It looked like it was brand new when he was done. He even leaves a surprise treat for his clients. When I got in my car, there was some air freshener and snacks! I highly recommend that you give this young entrepreneur a chance!
